Welcome to Kids on Campus 2013!

 

The Kids on Campus program is offered by the Continuing Education program of Imperial Valley College. Kids on Campus is a summer enrichment program serving students going into grades 4th – 9th. Classes will be held at the Imperial Valley College Campus. This three-week session gives students an opportunity to discover exciting information, explore new areas of interest, make new friends, and have a great time doing it all! A variety of classes in art, computers, science & sports are offered by teachers who have carefully written and designed the curriculum with age appropriate lessons and projects that will maximize your child's summer experience.

 Enrollment
The minimum enrollment for each workshop is 10 students; maximum is 20 students. Workshops below minimum enrollment may be canceled.

Fees
The cost for each session is $250.

How do I register?

Online Registration

Our online registration system allows you to securely register and pay. Credit or Debit card are accepted (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover). Before you begin please have all of your child's information handy. Information that will be required includes an emergency contact and your child's relevant health issues.

 

In-Person/Mail Registration

To register in person, visit the Community Education (Office 1715), Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, starting May 20, 2013. Complete registration form in its entirety. Mail completed forms along with payment payable to Imperial Valley College via:

Incomplete registrations will not be processed until all information is provided. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your registration has been processed. .

 

Parents must submit the following documents in person, by mail, by email, or by fax:

Registration is not complete until all applicable forms have been completed and payment has been received.


Refunds

Refunds will be issued as follows:
1) Full refund minus $25 processing fee if cancellation occurs by June 28, 2013.
2) Half refund if cancellation occurs between June 29, 2013 and July 5, 2013.

3) Once classes have begun, refunds will not be given.

 

Safety and program guidelines for youth classes

All children, who are enrolled in programs through the Imperial Valley College Continuing Education office, must be accompanied by a responsible adult and signed-in at the beginning of the program session. In addition, a responsible adult must also meet the participant at the end of the session and sign them out.

 

Drop-off and Pick-up

Drop-off and pick-up will be in the 500 Building at the south side of the campus.

 

Campus Parking

You may park in 15 minutes spaces. Do not park in Reserved, Faculty, Staff, or Disabled parking areas since they require special permits.

 

Internet Use
Access to the internet is intended for educational purposes. Imperial Valley College has taken precautions in an attempt to eliminate controversial materials. Therefore, student use will be monitored. However, please recognize that it is impossible for Imperial Valley College to restrict access to all controversial materials. Individuals shall not intentionally upload, download, or create computer viruses and/or maliciously attempt to harm, or destroy District equipment or materials or data of any other user, including so called “hacking.”
